What is the Victorian OHS Essentials Program?
The Victorian OHS Essentials Program is a WorkSafe Victoria government initiative that provides free independent advice to ensure the safety of your employees. By selecting an accredited Safety Provider, you can assess your workplace, identify potential hazards, and receive a customised safety action plan tailored to your business.
Safety Partners is an accredited, independent Safety Provider with a team of highly qualified Safety Consultants.

If you’re not eligible for the free program, Safety Partners’ Safety Consultants can assist you in ensuring your employees’ safety and meeting your OHS requirements.
Victorian OHS Essentials Program
The program is confidential, independent, and tailored to your needs. A Safety Partners Consultant is an external OHS expert, not employed by WorkSafe Victoria, and their recommendations remain entirely confidential.
On-Site
Our consultant will visit your workplace to assess and provide recommendations suited to your business. The initial on-site visit lasts up to 3 hours, during which the Safety Partners consultant will collaborate with you to identify hazards and risks, delivering a tailored report with a specific action plan for your business.
Virtual
We’ve also created a virtual approach of the OHS Essentials Program. Our consultants will help your business develop an OHSMS to establish OHS rules and ensure compliance with Victorian law. This free program also includes upskilling your employees to understand risks and controls specific to their roles, including leadership training for supervisors.
